Durero, Frans Hals, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Kirchner, Picasso, Hopper... Come and take a walk down the last seven centuries of art history.

Located on Paseo del Prado, the National Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is a highlight of Madrid, both because of its Permanent Collection and Temporary Exhibitions

Durero, Rafael, Tiziano, Rubens, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Manet, Renoir, Cézanne, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Kandinsky, Picasso, Hopper, Rothko,... The long list of great figures in the permanent collection is extraordinary. You'll find all Western art movements represented in the museum's galleries, with works from the 13th and 14th century up until the last decades of the 20th century. The Italian primitives, the German Renaissance, American paintings of the 19th century and just about all the "-isms" of the start of the 20th century.

The temporary expositions are a chance to explore particular aspects of art, artist monographs, movements, etc. These exhibitions are unique and one-offs.

Enjoy a walk through the last seven centuries of art history at the National Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.
